So, in years past, I bought a microwave, electronics, a nice camera, but this year I think I’ll buy a tank of gas with my Costco Rewards check. A friend said: Good luck getting through the lines at the pumps before next year's check arrives... Well, a year later, the price of gas has dropped a little bit, but not enough. Somebody is still making vast profits. Price gouging—there is no shortage. This year my Costco rewards check went for food since the price has been going up like crazy, supposedly because of fuel, inflation. No matter how you cut it, we’re all sitting ducks, or is it stool pigeons, aren’t we? Don’t even get me started on trying to score toilet paper.
