on lucid dreaming

During Beltaine, 1989, I had a series of disturbing dreams where old men were setting the gulf water on fire. I did not understand the imagery‚ it was too horrible to conceive. One line made it into this poem WILDCAT BEACH, BELTAINE   I assumed it was a Gulf War image. But now I see that I was lucid dreaming.
