Here comes the rain again...

Here comes the rain again... The Pineapple Express is never good for California water tables. It melts the snowpack, and then tries to wash us out to sea. We need a stable snowpack in the Sierras so we'll have water in the reservoirs come September... It keeps melting. Not good. We could be in the curious position of drowning in water AND still being in drought mode. It will take years, decades for the Central Valley underground water to recharge. The fat lady is gargling and it ain't over yet.

Rain on top of snow, which is disastrous for our Sierra snowpack, is why California's experiencing a drought (simultaneously while drowning in water). The warm rain is supposed to follow, it's not cold here which means the Pineapple Express has already arrived.
