FOREST KNOLLS CLEAN UP 2 short poems

Dusted with black mold,
salvaged art and journals from childhood
reward me with a blazing headache.

My grandmother's black church shoes
polished up with a gleam,

50 years later, the insoles still hold
the shape of her bunioned feet.
