Journal entry, back pain

6 Jan, 2000 A bit distraught I am, as the spasm in my back finally began to lift yesterday. I’m still easily tired, I need to soak and stretch. I’ve been walking around the lake the past three days to see if it will help. The only way out is exercise. The spasms are reduced to stretch pain. My ribs may not have ever mended from the accident. The pain was similar to what I experienced during the first 6 to 9 months. My orthopedic nurse practitioner said I may always have pain there, but the spasm was the worst that I have ever experienced, aside from the accident itself. It’s made me short-tempered, and Neil has been a bit obtuse, and self-involved, which doesn’t help.
