We had terrible internet problems for years that could not be fixed. No matter how many times we called to complain, no matter what AT&T did, Flipping remote switches, visiting the house, blaming us, blaming our wiring which I replaced. Nothing worked. Then we got a renegade line-man named Elvis who actually listened to us, and after checking the lines he said it wasn’t a problem inside the house. So he climbed up the telephone pole to have a look-see. Turns out there were a bunch of dead house sparrows online, well and truly fried in the ATT junction box on the telephone pole.
