STAR JELLY

STAR JELLY

A hand roving
among galaxies and cellular walls
star jelly          silent spring
behind the shade of stars     light,
the silent snowfall of stars

We, an interim species afloat
a probing hand roving
 among galaxies and cellular walls
we loosen spacial debris
behind the shade of stars
gelatinous light shimmering

The one event changed our history
a man was shot     jungles became interesting
defoliated trees, red rivers
the aftermath of choice      we measure
biological distress in the jungles of southeast asia
leaves of stars fluttering on barren soil
the sahara was a jungle once
